Hi, I'm Michelle

Michelle holding her PREKURE Health Coach Certificate

I'm a nutrition and health coach based in Palmerston North. I work with everyday people who want to feel better, have more energy and stop second-guessing what's on their plate.

Everyone's life is different, so your plan should be too. I'll meet you where you are and help you find an approach to food and wellbeing that actually works for you.

My advice is grounded in science and shaped by real life. I hold university qualifications in human nutrition and am a certified health coach, so we look at the whole picture, not just what's on your plate.

Why I do this

I've always been interested in nutrition, because what I eat has a real impact on how I feel. Having had my own gut issues, I know first-hand how much difference good nutrition can make, and I want to share what I've found useful along the way.

My Master's and Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition gave me a strong grounding in how food affects every part of the body. My current study in applied nutrition is all about the best ways to work with people and turn that knowledge into everyday life.

What I love most about coaching is helping people be the best they can be. Small, simple steps can bring about lasting change.

Outside of coaching

You'll often find me Irish dancing. It's part of my heritage and brings me a lot of joy, whether I'm learning new steps for the next grade or helping the younger dancers in our group learn theirs. We also perform for the community, including at the Festival of Cultures, which is always very satisfying.
